The media could not be loaded. I bought my home last year & the ONLY curtain rail up was for a box bay window. I found some beautiful thermal lined curtains from M&S & they looked gorgeous, but the rail wasn't up to it & I kept pulling the curtains off the rail. So I changed it to a bendable Swish Delux rail but this was not much better - I looked around to try to find a good U rail system that both catered for bay windows AND was heavy duty enough for these heavy curtains. And then I saw these on Amazon - they not only met both my requirements - cater for heavy curtains & fit a box bay but ALSO would introduce automation. So I bought the 3m set + a corner bracket. I used my pre existing wall holes (as the long screws from the Swish bore right into the steel lintel & hold the bracket securely) & the corner piece is a perfect fit. I had about 60cm of rail left over once I trimmed the rails to size with a hacksaw. As you can see in the video its a perfect fit. I also configured to work with Amazon Alexa & only gripe is that documentation is awful & online instruction is tricky - some videos show slight differences & it wasn't hugely clear whether to trim to 22 notches on the belt or 20 (20 was in fact perfect & I didn't need to increase belt tension at all). If you have experience of working with 3d printers you'll recognise the way this fits. Its not "easy" to fit as many pieces are heavy & not easy to fit. The only other area that could improve is the aesthetic - its not always possible to hide the rail & the mix of aluminium & white plastic is not clean - perhaps powder coat the rails so they match the plastic corner piece? That & a better app/instructions would be my only suggestions - otherwise this product fills a niche

It works fine, but the installation is a nightmare. If you have a small window, it’s perfect. Easy to install. If you have a window bigger than 2m, then it becomes a mess. If you miss only one little detail you’re done. Do not cut the belt bigger than what you need, otherwise you’ll have problems

3rd time I have bought this product (so now I have on three windows). The first two I bought in lockdown and they are still going, scheduled to open and close everyday. They are brilliant. I have them in massive 5m bay windows and they work fine. I love the fact that when I'm on holiday my curtains are opening and closing. This one is on a 2 metre straight window. Much easier to put up! Make sure you take your time and watch all the videos. They are perfectly good. You'll be fine if you don't rush it. If it jams after you complete the build, then loosen one end and pull it / push it until the tension is right. You'll need to open and close the curtains while you do this. Literally a couple of mm makes all the difference. They work with the remote (pairs easily) and Tuya (WiFi) - I turned the app on and it found the curtains without me searching. Boom - done, and they work through Alexa - I switched app on and they were already there. I have mine also running through home assistant also with no problems. These are extremely robust - expect them to last years, as mine have. Highly recommended. Blows my friend's minds. I don't understand why they are not a standard part of home life for everyone. Takes me about 3 hours to put these up.

I've installed 7 sets of these curtains throughout the house. Once you get through the first build (watch the videos) they are really easy to set up and install. The QL500 was the right model for me as these come with the wall mounting brackets. The other models are ceiling mount with wall brackets as an extra. Once installed on the wall, its a press of a button on the unit and the remote to pair and you're up and running. I use the Smart Life app and have that skill working within the Alexa app. Everything just seamlessly works. Both apps found each device as soon as I powered it on. Perfect.

Amazing product - purchased in 2022 - I'm not really a "reviewer" of products, but I have to say that I'm super thankful for this. Works like a charm everytime. Not intuitive to setup. I kept it together in the move from one apartment to another so that I didn't have to set it up again. My W.Elm curtain rod is real pain compared to this contraption. This curtain rod motor thingy is a simple creature comfort that brightens your day with a push of a button - I highly recommend :)

Il montaggio è pratico; dentro la confezione oltre a 2 pezzi lunghi un metro, ci sono altri pezzi di binario di diverse dimensioni… 50cm, 20cm, 10cm… così da adattarlo a varie lunghezze… altrimenti frullino. Funzionamento silenzioso. Si utilizza con telecomando, a mano (basta una pressione alla tenda ed il motore si attiva) con Alexa e tramite App (Smart Life). Apprendimento automatico dei fine corsa e riduzione della velocità prima di arrivare a "battuta". Il motore si può montare in entrambi i versi (alto o basso) ed è possibile inverire l'impostazione predefinita di chiusura ed apertura. Si monta sia a binario singolo che a doppio binario. In dotazione tutti gli accessori (escluso le paperelle). Consigliato Per glu amanti della domotizzazione un vero incanto.
